Rey Maualuga was drafted by the Bengals not the Browns. Same state but different city. I only correct because I am a Bengals fan and ya’ll know how I feel about them Brownies. And I can kind of understand Gary V not being so happy with that pick. I don’t think it was getting the QB but maybe giving up what they did. I personally would have liked to see the Tampa Bay fans reactions after their team traded up 2 spots to 17 to get Josh Freeman. Did they really not think he was going to be there at 19? Matter of fact if you guys would have traded down you probably still could have gotten him. I’m still laughing at that.

Gary, how can you be upset at the Jets choosing USC’s Quarterback Mark Sanchez?! Let’s set aside the fact I’m a die-hard Trojan fan and just get to the bottom line: Sanchez led the Trojans to a 12-1 season and received Offensive MVP at the Rose Bowl. (And don’t give me “The Pac 10 Sucks” argument.)

As for the draft as a whole, 11 Trojans were chosen overall (I’m a huge Maulaluga fan - great grab by the Browns), which makes USC the best breeding ground for pros two years in a row - 3 times in the last 4 years.
